Electrophysiological modeling of uterine electrical activity: generation and propagation
Abstract:
We will present a first approach of the uterine electrical activity mathematical modelling, from one single uterine cell to the propagation of this activity in 2 directions. The single uterine cell model is based upon electrophysiological data collected from the bibliography. It permits us to simulate the bursting phenomenon noticed on term uterine cells. Some tools have been used to simplify this model, in order to use it to simulate the electrical activity propagation to neighbouring cells.
